As I said in my main post Helenus was more concerned about recoring the ligitimate male line of inheritance and I’m sure that there are many other routes back to this family….

I came across your website because a cousin of mine claims descent from Robert davids nephew through helenus now I see Helenus recorded that he had no legitimat off spring but these walkers have an earlier connection through Beatrice Halkerstone i am wondering if she is either Roberts sister or his aunt she appears to have died about 1713 after giving birth to one child David walker there do seem to be a lot of missing records for this family regards Elsie Ritchie

Not aware of anyone else having used the DNA project. Maybe others can let us know about their experience?

I am English surname of Cowings, I have had my DNA tested and my DNA says Cowan from Scotland. I am just wondering if any other Cowan have tested or are thinking of having their DNA tested.
